Is this a Christmas tree?
What is a Christmas tree, anyway? Isn’t it just a tree you bring home to decorate with festive love before the holidays? I know it is normally a spruce or pine tree, but who says it can’t be just a normal tree?
I want a wild Christmas tree. A Christmas tree that is still in the ground, still growing, for years to come. One that I can decorate every year. One that can be a constant reminder throughout the year of December, every time I look at it.
This reminds me of the commercial with the 3 palm trees. I can’t remember the company who made it but it has the palm trees light up as Christmas trees.
My October 2011 GoGo Girlfriend box
GoGo Girlfriend is probably my favorite sample box. I have never felt disappointed with any of their sample boxes. They give you two options when joining. First one is you pay $6.99 a month and get a sample box every other month, or pay $12.99 a month and get a box each month. In this months box I got:
Modella Cosmetic bag — it’s a really nice size. Looks like it’s going to fit e retrying I carry nicely.
GoGo Girlfriends So Soft New Fiber Optic Blush Brush — I have not used yet.
Camille Beckman’s Travel size hand therapy — love it. Goes on silky smooth leaving my hands soft. Has a nice subtle fragrance also.
My October 2011 Birchbox
I’m positive you’ve heard of Birchbox. If not, it’s a monthly subscription where you pay $10 a month and get 4 - 5 deluxe sample of high end beauty products a month. This is my fourth box. The Aug and Sept boxes have been not to my satisfaction at all. I was actually going to cancel but I’ve recently moved and in all the madness I forgot to cancel. I am happy to say that I’m glad I forgot because I would be kicking my self right now. This box is wonderful. I have had this box a while so the products I’ve tried are:
Caudalie’s Vinoperfect Cell Renewal Night Cream — After I washed, toned and moisturized my face I put this on and went to bed. In the morning after I woke up my face was soft but when I looked in the mirror my face was red. No bumps like I was allergic but red. I’m not sure if I want to try it again. Laura Geller’s Spackle Tinted Under Makeup Primer in Bronze — I used this the first day I got the box and all I can say is that I saw no difference in the way i looked. None at all.
Orofluido’s Beauty Elizir — I love this product. I have very dry color treated hair and I live in South Texas so I am always around humidity. This product kept my hair sleek without making it oily. I haven’t had “fly-aways” either. And the smell is awesome. Warm vanilla, smells like I’m baking cookies. Yum!

Befine’s Lip Exfoliator and Oribe’s Shampoo & Conditioner for Beautiful Color.
